Security access is managed via a building-wide security system which includes networked CCTV coverage and a high-quality audio and video access system. Each wharf level lobby includes a multi-media flat panel display with built-in application software to allow the display of ‘live’ resident and building information from a centralised point.
Full broadband infrastructure will be installed throughout the building and to each apartment, along with a Sky-compatible digital television network. An energy-efficient air conditioning system will be supplied to each apartment, with all outdoor units being located within the building roof system.
A home automation system is available to all residents as an upgrade option, which includes lighting control, intercom and security access, and energy monitoring. The system can also interface with other home technology such as audio and video systems and motorised blinds.
The building features many environmentally sustainable design features, including an efficient building envelope with high levels of thermal insulation, a high-performance double glazing system, energy efficient air conditioning systems, and natural ventilation through sliding doors and operable windows.
